GLOUCESTERSHIRE County Cricket Club are urging youngsters to support the club as they begin their bid to win the Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy.
Their opening match against Middlesex on Sunday, April 23 is a kids fun day.
The club are offering free entry for children under the age of 16 when accompanied by a full paying adult.
Gloucestershire hope to create an electric atmosphere and the players are all hoping for some loud support from the supporters, especially the next generation.
The club has also invited many youth cricket clubs from the region in the hope of inspiring them for their own cricket matches for the season.
Play starts at 11am but the entertainment starts earlier, with face painting, a bouncy castle and much more.
There is also an opportunity for U16s attending to join in with fielding sessions, under the supervision of qualified coaches. This is a rare opportunity for members of the public and could identify some Gloucestershire players of the future.
Tickets can be bought in advance for £12 for adults or on the gate for £16.
For more information about tickets, please visit the GCCC website www.glosccc.co.uk, visit the club reception or call the ticket information line on 0117 910800.
