I AM writing in connection with the articles in the Gazette on the closure of Energym in Thornbury where a number of gym members were left out of pocket and with no gym to go to.
I have written to Bridges Health Club at Thornbury Leisure Centre thanking them for their very kind gesture of free membership to the club for the term I would have had at Energym.
After speaking to Andy and Steve at Bridges, and having been given the tour of the facilities, I feel I have been very lucky to get such a generous offer, which I have gratefully accepted.
It's just a shame more fitness clubs are not this customer-focused.
