Severnside Seagulls U11s continued their success in their summer tournaments by winning at Castle Combe.
The victory was the latest in a series of fine performances by the Seagulls. They began the summer with a visit to Abingdon in Oxfordshire where they were runners-up in the final, beaten with a golden goal.
Severnside made the quarter finals at St Nicholas and then followed this by winning the Thornbury Falcons tournament.
At Bristol Rovers they were runners-up again, winning twice against the hosts, only to be beaten by another golden goal by St Vallier in the final.
The visit to Castle Combe earned the boys yet another trophy as they conceded just one goal throughout the whole tournament, winning every match before a goalless semi final ended in a victorious penalty shoot-out.
The final was also drawn in normal time but this time the golden goal rule favoured Severnside.
Squad: Alex Gayner, Dan Gayner, Rhys West, Ben White, Steven Msowoya, Colin Featherstone, Billy Bond, Ryan Hall, William Jones and Nick Walker.
